This hotel has a great location with the train station a few steps away and a market and restaurants very close by. The surrounding area can be a little sketchy at night and best not to go out super late. The staff was friendly but definitely needs more training. We got contradictory info about hotel policies regarding check in and check out, even after I pointed out my HH status. The hotel and front desk seemed understaffed on many occasions, phone calls to the front desk went unanswered. Breakfast was underwhelming and lacked variety and quality. By European standards, room size was ok. Value for money: meets minimum standards for a Hilton and Hampton brand but lacked the wow factor.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The train station was steps away from the hotel and there were many things nearby that we never had time to explore. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. If I ever go back to Amsterdam, I would not stay anywhere else.

My stay at the Hampton Hilton in Amsterdam was largely positive, meriting four stars. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere throughout my visit. The beds provided comfort and a good night’s sleep, and the internet was reliably stable, which is always a plus for both leisure and business travelers. However, there were a couple of aspects that didn’t quite meet expectations. The breakfast, typically a highlight at Hampton hotels, was underwhelming and lacked the variety and quality I anticipated. Additionally, the breakfast area was overcrowded at different times, which made the morning meal less enjoyable. Overall, the experience was satisfactory with standout service and amenities, but improvements in the breakfast offerings could enhance the overall guest satisfaction.

The hotel is located outside of the city centre about 25 minutes by metro or train but you get plenty of value for money. Amsterdam hotels of a similar or lower category in the city centre are at least 50% more expensive than the Hampton. So, for me, it is well worth the metro ride. The hotel has a very bright and spacious lobby. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are a little bit small but very clean and modern. The bed is comfortable, and the shower/toilet is large. Also, they have a gym and the breakfast has plenty of options and is quite good. Just, the juices are not natural. Overall, this hotel punches above its 3 star category and it is normally my go-to hotel when in Amsterdam for business. Excellent value for money.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms are lovely and a great breakfast. It was busy with folks attending Eurovision in Concert. Many thanks to Luigi, Selina and Eva as well as the whole team for a lovely stay. Best. Kevin
